Oprah Winfrey Farewell Speech Saying Goodbye To A Legend!

I remember growing up as a young kid and watching the Oprah Winfrey show from my couch with my eyes fixed on the TV set intently watching her newest episode. That is one of the main reasons the Oprah Winfrey show has been around for 24 years, the mass appeal her show has to all genders and races. Let's face it everyone loves Oprah, and for good reason she is kind, and caring, and truly has touched the lives of countless people from all walks of life around the world. Oprah's appeal is evident in the way she carries herself on and off the set of her hit talk show.

Oprah Winfrey Brief Bio

Millions of people watch her show on a daily basis from all walks of life. She has also been ranked the richest African American of the 20th century, one of the most philanthropic African American of all time, and was once the world's only black billionaire. Oprah Winfrey Farewell Speech Saying Goodbye To A Legend!

Quick Fact:The Oprah Winfrey Show began as a Chicago based 1984 program called "AM Chicago"."The Oprah Winfrey Show", made it's official debut in1986.

Since the Oprah Winfrey show made it's debut 23 plus years ago, as of the writing of this hub, countless heart warming episodes have come and gone. Episodes that have touched our hearts, episodes that have pulled at our inner raw emotions, episodes covering pretty much every important aspect we as the human race deal with on a daily basis. I remember a show that aired in 2004, Oprah Winfrey gave away 276 brand new Pontiac G-6'S. Talk about generous, I wish I was a member of that Chicago based audience that day lol. This is one example of the many generous moments she has shared with her audience members throughout the years. Oprah also contributes to many charities worldwide, that has enriched the lives of the less fortunate, and disease stricken people that would not be able to make it without the help of her continued generosity. What's next for the Chicago based talk show diva, that has touched so many on a daily basis? Here's my take on her emotional farewell speech that aired today!

Oprah Winfrey Farewell Speech Saying Goodbye To A Legend!

Oprah's farewell speech aired today on network TV where she interviewed the comedian Ray Romano which was a very good interview. She mentioned to Ray, that he was the highest paid TV actor at the time he did the Ray Romano hit TV show, that last aired 4 years ago. Ray kind of shrugged off the question, by saying yes it's true I did very well, but some people were doing much better by implying Oprah's success. Oprah smiled at his comment and continued her interview, even she knows there is no denying her success she has had throughout the years. My take on Oprah's success is she has earned every dime, and much more throughout the years.

Oprah goes to break, and announces her emotional farewell speech to her millions of faithful viewers. Oprah chokes back tears, and goes on thanking her loyal fans she has had throughout the years. Quote: This show has been my life, and since it is so much my life I know when it is time to say goodbye. I feel it in my bones, that after my 25th season the Oprah Winfrey show is calling it quits. There wasn't a dry eye in the audience, people truly love this remarkable woman.

So what's next for Oprah after her final airing of the Oprah Winfrey Show? I highly doubt we have seen the last of her after her show stops airing in 2011. Will Tyra Banks step up and try to fill the mighty big shoes of a woman that has changed the face of talk shows as we know it? Not to mention the normal everyday people she continues to touch on a daily basis? I do not think anyone can truly take the place of the much loved Oprah Winfrey. The best thing we can hope for is a close second, but only time will tell!

An Oprah Fans Goodbye:

From the millions of people that you have impacted in one way or another, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all the good things you have done for mankind in general! There will never be another Oprah Winfrey, nor do we want there to be! May your syndicated show's memories, continue to touch future generations for years and years to come.
